Training Coordinator - Manchester, Greater Manchester - Woodrow Mercer

A brand-new position has become available for a training coordinator to join the business on site in Greater Manchester, on a full time and permanent basis. Working as part of the wider group L&D team, you will be responsible for coordinating all employee development activity including technical, mandatory and health & safety training. You will be proactive and engage with key stakeholders on-site understanding learner needs, you will deliver new starter inductions, provide data and reports on L&D courses and attendees progress. Where necessary, you will source 3rd party suppliers for specialist training and manage negotiations as well as support the L&D Partner as and when required.
Necessary skills, knowledge and experience:
- Time served in an L&D or training administrator, coordinator or specialist role (ideally in a manufacturing/production/packaging environment, although not essential)
- Highly organised - able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communicator
- Able to work independently and 'roll your sleeves up', whilst contributing as part of a bigger team
- Competent on Microsoft packages
