Job Description

Are you immediately available and working in Accounts Payable? Well how about considering the below? You will be based in North Doncaster.

This opportunity will require an immediately available Purchase Ledger Assistant on a temporary basis for 4- 6 months. Salary wise they are offering £22,000 - £27,000.

Here's what a typical day will look like:

  • Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Working out VAT payments
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Data entry
  • Filing invoices
  • Managing petty cash
  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
  • Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

Is this you:

  • Previous experience in a Finance role
  • Experience of using Sage is desired but not essential
