If so, then please give me a call ASAP to discuss this Temporary Accounts Assistant position. This is a very hands-on role working between the operations and accounts department, in a small but very busy environment so you will need to have experience working in a fast paced role.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Management Accountant in month end reporting and accounts preparation
- Posting purchase invoices, matching purchase orders & reconciling purchase statements on sage
- VAT return preparation
- Preparation of accruals, prepayments and routine journals
- Bank reconciliations
- Compiling and processing month end and mid-month payment run
You will need to have the following:
- A solid finance background
- Excellent administration and accounts skills
- Experience on Sage Line 50
- Excellent numeracy, communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritise
