I am working with a sporting body as they have a brand new role for a Social Community Officer to join their L&D team.
As a governing body, this organisation are at the forefront when it comes to creating an environment that is inclusive for all interested in sport and assists those in their careers within the sector. Coming into this organisation, you must embody their beliefs and behaviours which includes being progressive, respectful, inclusive, determined and striving for excellence in your performance.
As the Social Community Officer you will be managing a platform consisting of coaches, to help provide an environment that consists of interactions and connections for all to help with queries and personal development. From the start you will be spearheading the implemetation of the digital community strategy by helping the coaches identify information, lead interactions on the platform and escalate any issues or concerns where appropriate.
Day to day you will also be collaborating with internal stakeholders and partners to make sure that the framework of the comunity aligns with the learner insight as well as the development philosophy behing the social community platform. You will be responsible for posting blogs, videos and other collatoral which will help the coaches grow and develop to keep this community one for learning, sharing and assisting those involved.
