Senior Implementation Engineer due to on-going growth in our dynamic and highly skilled engineering team.
The role is to provide expert installation, design and support solutions to our large number of nationwide customers ensuring that the service provided meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
A strong customer focus is also vital, as are strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail. Any formal qualifications are desirable but not essential as we value experience.
We will need you to have practical experience installing, migrating, troubleshooting and configuring the following technologies, ideally at an enterprise level have worked at a managed service provider company before. Mandatory Skills (Design/Install/Support)
Experience doing technical design and consultancy work
Switch configuration, design and troubleshooting (HP/Cisco/Dell) - L2, L3, VLANs, LAGs / Trunking,
Storage connectivity FCoE, FC, iSCSI, NAS, CIFS, SAS (with vendors such as NetApp, HP, Dell Compellent)
Implementation and migrations of VMware vSphere/Hyper-V clustering
Windows Server & Active Directory migrations, DNS,DHCP,FSMO.
Exchange support/migrations to Office 365, Azure, ADFS, Azure AD Connect.
Desirable Skills (Design/Install/Support)
VDI - VMWare Horizon View, Citrix XenDesktop
2FA (Office 365, PIN Safe - Swivel, Vasco, RSA)
WDS/MDT SCCM Windows deployment.
Thin client configuration
IPv6, OSPF, BGP,VRF
Software Defined Storage / Networking (e.g. Storage Spaces Direct, vSAN, NSX, Microsoft SDN)
Scripting (e.g. Powershell, cmd, bash)
Terminal Services / Remote Desktop Services

Full Clean UK driving license
