Job Description

Woodrow Mercer are currently supporting a client who are working on a ground breaking study to aim to quantify the business impact of supporting people with their purpose.

The study requires an Operational Project Manager to take responsibility for tracking overall progress of the study and operational project management to ensure smooth progress and that key milestones are met through the study period. The role is global in scope supporting the global core project team and the local country teams with the key steps that need to be taken. Countries are at different stages in the project so tasks will be varied dependant on the country you are working with.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and track overall progress and key study milestones:

  • Track and manage the progress of all steps in project flow
  • Ensure actions are followed up in a timely manner
  • Flag any progress risks
  • Engage any additional team members as necessary

Information storage and maintenence

  • Collection streams adjustment and maintenance
  • Manual uploading of collection streams and session participants
  • Monitor learner response and reallocations
  • Monitor and match attendance with survey response

Establish close relationships with several countries around the world

  • Regular follow up of roll out plans with each country
  • Regular advice and support to each country lead
  • Support each country providing key resources
  • Regular countries guidance throughout the project

Ensure project round rules and LSE methodology are being followed

  • Quality control for each purpose workshop (format, duration, facilitation etc)
  • Workshop resources, preparation and facilitators
  • Quality control for messages, invites etc

In order for to apply for this position you must possess the following skills and competencies:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Operational Project Management
  • Retro planning and time management skills
  • High level of responsiveness and proactivity
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Fluent English

The additional following skills would be highly advantageous

  • Understanding of Randomised Control Trial methodlogy
  • Expertise using Perception Tool management system
  • Expertise in Cornerstone LMS
  • Understanding of Learning Help desk ways of working
