Are you looking to start your journey in finance or do you have experience as a Purchase Ledger?

My market leading client are looking for a Purchase Ledger to join their busy finance team based in Batley. This is a permanent opportunity.

  • Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Working out VAT payments
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Data entry
  • Filing invoices
  • Managing petty cash
  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
  • Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
