Job Description

My client is a successful, market leading organisation based in South Bradford. The opportunity I am currently recruiting for is a Purchase Ledger on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to start your journey in finance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Sort, verify, post & file both PO and Non-PO related invoices including but not limited to Europe and Central Europe
  • Reconciliation of SOA's to ensure all invoices have been captured, request copy invoices where appropriate
  • Reconciliation of inbound goods through the ERP system and chase invoices where required
  • Reconcile AP balances against the GL
  • Co-ordinate and provide information to internal / external audit where required
  • Check intercompany agreements
  • Prepare audit schedule for AP

The candidate will have:

  • Accounts Payable experience is preferable but not essential
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • Effective oral and written communication with the ability to address personnel across all lines of the business
  • Shows initiative and takes ownership of tasks
  • Exposure to SAP S/4 Hana & TM1 is desired but not essential
  • Microsoft suite - Advanced excel experience is desired but not essential
