Job Description

My client a successful international business based in Hull is looking to appoint a Trainee Accounts Assistant, this role will offer full study support and career progression. You will be responsible for delivering robust clean balance sheets each month for the Advisory and AMCL statutory entities, day to day transactional processing alongside some reporting. You will report directly into the Financial Controller.

Duties will involve:

  • Preparation and reconciliation of Balance Sheets and supporting schedules
  • Preparation of the monthly Management Accounts
  • Preparation and posting of accruals, prepayments and fixed asset journals
  • Utilisation reporting
  • Missing time sheet reporting and corrections
  • Headcount reconciliation
  • Reconciliation of global inter-company trading
  • Assistance to the Advisory business with adhoc queries
  • Support to the wider UK finance team as required

Remuneration package:

  • Salary £18,000-£22,000
