As Senior Software ORACLE Database Developer As a hands-on technical mentor, you will instil an ethos of continual learning and professional development.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll join our Realtime Platform and Modernisation team. You will get the opportunity to lead architecture and design, software engineering, testing, and maintenance strategies for these high performing systems. You will help to set direction by working with proposition leaders and product owners to identify requirements, explore the technology we need to deliver on these, and to schedule project plans that meet delivery.

The Techy Things About You

The right Senior Software Engineer is someone who has excellent leadership and technical skills and is excited about working on complex and mission critical systems

Relational databases - strong Oracle Database skills (minimum Oracle 11g).

Strong experience of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

Strong experience of Oracle performance tuning

Experience in designing Oracle schema objects

Experience in Solaris/Oracle Linux/Red Head

Strong experience of Shell scripting
