I am working with a FTSE 100 organisation as they look to bring on board a Learning Design Assistant Manager into their internal team.

 

This is an organisation who have been at the forefront of learning content creation for several years and are known for their innovation within the learning space, winning numerous awards of the years. One of these awards is the prestigious gold award for learning technology team of the year, just proving their level of innovation and the forward-thinking nature of the professionals across this team. They are seeking creative professionals who love to push the boundaries, ensuring that industry trends and technologies are being utilised as well as thinking out-side of the box with their approaches.

This role is a position that requires more hands-on attention toward the design side of content production. This includes conducting a full learning needs analysis and pulling together ideas for the potential course and delivery method of the learning content. Storyboarding and Scriptwriting are also key criteria as well as being confident with project management.

The project management is required because not only are you going to be autonomously working your projects but you will be managing an off-shore development team so knowing exactly where you are at and what still needs to be completed is a huge requirement of this position. An end to end designer would make a great candidate for this role to ensure familiarity with all aspects of the course development process. Articulate Rise is the rapid authoring tool of choice here so being able to converse around the tool and the processes within would be ideal.
