Learning and Development Manager - Portsmouth
Woodrow Mercer Learning are currently recruiting on behalf of a UK national retail organisation for a Learning and Development Manager to join their fast-growing team, leading on the development agenda for their learning academy and supporting all performance across the business.
In this position you will be responsible for the management of the training team; coaching and developing the team to ensure that the highest standards are met when designing, delivering and facilitating interventions as well as leading on the development and design of the academy's learning content, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring all proposals are efficient and in line with the business's requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have demonstrable experience of the successful design/development of training materials.
- Have experience with stakeholder management.
- Have a passion for people management.
- Be experienced in applying learning theories and methodologies to meet specifications for enhancing knowledge and understanding performance and behaviour.
