Job Description

I have a really exciting opportunity for a recent technical graduate or a junior technical individual to join an absolutely awesome client of mine based in prime location Birmingham as a junior system admin.  This role will suit either someone looking for their first job in tech or a second job to expand their knowledge further.  This role will offer excellent career development within an organisation that is busier than ever even during these turbulent times.

Core responsibilities:

(You should see this as whereby any experience of the following is advantageous and those that you do not have are the responsibilities and knowledge you would acquire as part of your development within the role itself).

  • 1st line support to users in the business via phone, email and remote connections.  Due to the current pandemic there will be a lot of remote support needing to be given.  Scope to also provide 2nd line support dependent on experience and speed of personal development
  • Assist with the administration and support of Network Devices, Windows Server, phone systems and Office 365
  • Assist ad-hoc with internal projects as required
  • Provide Hardware and Software fault finding and resolution
  • Apply software installations and configurations as needed

You should be passionate about IT, Have an IT related degree/diploma or relevant qualifications, excellent communication skills and be a team player!
