Interim Financial Controller - Part Time
£200 - £300 per day
9-12 month contract
My client is a modern, entrepreneurial and ethical SME business in the healthcare industry with offices near Brighouse.
The company provides both products and services to hospitals and other healthcare providers across the UK.
Culturally the business offers a flexible and trusting environment for their down to earth, hard-working and positive minded staff.
The business is growing rapidly with multiple process improvement projects relating to stock, automation and supply chain.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will cover a 9-12 month maternity period in a hybrid role looking after both the hands-on elements of the company's day to day accounting as well as requiring your input into various business improvement projects essential to the business' growth.
Specific duties include:
- Preparation of monthly figures and board pack for 4 entities
- Cashflow forecasting
- Processing and approving all payments.
- Dealing with supplier queries (UK based and overseas)
- Monthly payroll (15 employees)
- Enhancement of the Sage 200 system (MI and stock reporting)
- Submission of banking MI
My client requires a commitment of 3 days per week maximum.
The successful candidate will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience with recent experience in a similar SME Financial Controller role.
Ideally you will have a background in a contracts driven industry with exposure to both services and stock.
You must also have a background providing input to various business wide improvement projects. This requires a broader understanding of business and strong communication/questioning skills.
