I am looking for a Head of Instructional Design to come on board with an organisation who are not only monopolising their training niche but also making leaps and bounds with the use of technology in learning.

They operate specifically in a niche vertical when it comes to the content of training that they produce which has helped them developed an exceptional brand name when it comes to training provisions in that industry. They are an organisation which has focussed on utilising technology efficiently within their learning, narrowing into multi-device learning currently but moving forward will be looking to enhance and expand on this and their over-arching learning portfolio.

The person coming into this role needs to be someone who is looking to be very digital and utilise technology in not only their work but also the work of their team. As this is a Head Of role, prior management or at least team leadership experience will be required to ensure that you are staying well ahead of the learning curve and "evolutionising" the training produced. This role would be perfect for a leader and an innovator who's constantly keeping up to date with market trends and technologies and always looking toward the next level to reach.

In terms of background you do need to have strong experience of hands on design and development however this needs to be in a consultative environment to allow familiarity with the pace and structure of how the business will be working.
