Managing a team of transactional staff and reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the end to end finance function including the production of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cashflow analysis and liaising with the bank / auditors. With a large part of their operation overseas, you also have some international reporting responsibilities.
Happy with all that but want the opportunity for progression? That's possible too given that the Finance Director is approaching retirement. There may be the possibility of long-term development once you've earned your stripes within the company.
So, if you're a hands-on Financial Controller from a service sector background, looking for an autonomous role in a growing SME environment, this could be the long-term role you've been looking for. Preferable industry experience would include distribution, transport or logistics, but is not essential.
