Financial Controller - Badgequo
The person will be a qualified accountant. Some industry experience would be highly preferable so as to bring experience of living and breathing the flow in a high-volume transaction environment. Proven record of monthly management reporting skills through a full month-end process.
The person will be a strong people manager and able to recognise that everyone is different but that collectively it is the team and its efficiency in achieving its goals that is the most important thing. A key remit for the role will be to ensure we have a team that is fit for growth with the correct roles and correct people in them covering all bases.
The traditional attention to detail and strong IT, system and Excel skills are a must.

The role will include, but not be limited, to the following:
Day to day management of the finance team (four people = GL/stock, AR, AP and accounts assistant)
Strong focus on management information and run/control the month-end process through to Board pack submission
Monthly consolidation of all Group company accounts (UK, Germany, HK and China)
Balance sheet ownership and integrity
Additional commercial reporting monthly to internal product managers and Group directors
Working capital and cash management/planning/forecasting
Invoice Finance and Trade Finance facility management, including day to day management of the relationship with the company's bankers
Supervise and drive the credit control activity
Working in a multi-currency environment and appropriate FX planning and coverage
Monthly payrolls for each territory with the support of local agents, and then prepare annual returns, P11ds etc.
Continue to develop the relationship with the Group head office finance team and lead projects as they arise
Annual budgets and periodic reforecasts
Lead the year-end audit and statutory process.
The package on offer
As ever, the package can be negotiated according to the right person's experience and capability, but the outline is as follows:
Up to £55k - £60k depending on experience
