Job Description

Woodrow Mercer are currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Learning Developer to join a leading global law firm based in London on a fixed term basis. The post holder will be responsible for the following:

  • Working closely with with other Developers and Designers within the L&D team to build a range of innovative digital solutions that add value to the business, including interactive scenario-based eLearning, games, videos (including animation), performance support tools, and other appropriate new / emerging solutions
  • Support the development of an agile client product utilising skills in creating animated videos in GoAnimate, bitsize eLearning in Mohive and Articulate Rise, whilst at the same time bringing new ideas to help with the development of future client products
  • Advise on how best to utilise authoring and other relevant tools to enhance the design of business solutions, making them engaging and interactive for the learner
  • Balance a portfolio of your own projects, managing competing demands and working efficiently to complete projects on time
  • Help to raise awareness with stakeholders and the wider learning team about how digital learning can support their training needs

The following skills are required for this role:

  • Expert in rapid authoring tools, including Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Mohive, Captivate, and mobile authoring tools
  • Experience in the use of animation software products, including GoAnimate
  • Background in graphics design and expert in media / associated tools
  • Experience of designing solutions for consumption on mobile would be highly beneficial but not essential
  • Naturally creative and able to showcase that in your approach to designing solutions
  • A solid understanding of how people learn and how to design engaging and impactful solutions
  • Able to motivate and inspire colleagues sharing expertise on how digital solutions can add value
  • Experience in the development of videos including script writing would be helpful
