Job Description

My client a leading successful manufacturing business based in Castleford is looking to appoint a Cash Allocation Assistant on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the wider finance team and take full ownership of the role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Allocating customer payments within the accounting system, including the Euro cash sales account
  • Resolve invoicing and allocation queries
  • Ensure correct computation of all forms of supplier discount and working with the Financial Controller agree all sales ledger debit notes
  • Working with the Financial Controller, issue all forms of credit notes to customers
  • Ensure compliance with company policy on all rebates and credit notes

Essential criteria:

  • Must have at least two to three years experience of working within a similar role
  • Must be self motivated and be able to prioritise own workload
  • Must have good attention to detail

Remuneration package:

  • Salary £20,000 - £25,000
  • 40 hours
  • Free on site parking
  • Pension
