Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Job description: We are recruiting for a Accounts Payable Clerk to join a reputable business based in South Birmingham on a permanent basis.

Your main duties consist of the following:

  • Matching, batching and coding circa 100 invoices per day
  • Reconciling supplier statements on a weekly basis
  • Resolving complex supplier queries
  • Processing employee expenses on a fortnightly basis
  • Processing supplier payment runs

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

  • Previous experience of working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve queries
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Strong system skills including intermediate Excel (VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)
