Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Reference: 14972

Job description: We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a reputable business based in Redditch on a permanent basis.

Your main duties consist of the following:

  • Matching, batching and coding c100 invoices per day
  • Resolving complex supplier queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements on a weekly basis
  • Preparing payments runs for suppliers
  • Posting journals
  • Assisting with the month end closure
  • Raising PO numbers

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

  • Previous experience of working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve queries
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Strong system skills including intermediate Excel (VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)
