I am currently working with a rapidly growing technology change management consultancy as they hire an Account & New Business Sales Manager into their organisation.
This role is integral to the growth of the company and will be the one and only sales role in the company for the meanwhile. You will be at the forefront of expanding their business as prior to now they have utilised the extensive networks of the directors to both engage with organisations and win contracts for the organisation.
You will be looking to expand their public sector clientele list so whoever steps into this role MUST have sold into the public sector previously. Not only will this mean you have existing relationships or previous relationships with key decision makers but you'll be familiar with the processes to go through with organisations when on-boarding and throughout the sell.
As this is the first sales role in this business, you will have a lot to go after including managing existing account as well as bringing new business on-board. The idea is with this role that if you do bring in business and there is a lot of things moving and progressing that you will turn into a manager and hire more ssales professionals to expand the team and the brand further. Also, you will be integral to growing and moulding the sales strategy as time goes on. If you like the idea of having a sales process which will need your input to expand and develop, this may be a great opportunity for you.
