Woodrow Mercer are looking to recruit a 1st Line Service Desk Call Logger in Reading.
You will be the first point of contact to customers, engineers and internal staff calling into a busy service desk. This is a permanent position and would suit someone looking to develop a career within an IT environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Service call logging
- Providing basic telephone support to internal and external bodies
- Helping to ensure SLA targets are being met
- Assisting the Technical Support team with any requests
- Ensure escalation are raised to the correct departments/managers
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Experience of dealing with customer calls - either in a call centre/helpdesk/IT environment
- IT literate, excellent communication / organisation skills.
- A flexible team player that is willing to help others
