What is a Finance Director?

What is a Financial Controller?
Whilst the finance director will be making all of the big decisions, the FC also also plays an essential part in the monetary side of your business. The Financial Controller will work on all of the day-to-day operations in the finance department, reporting directly to the FD. The person in this role will work with the wider financial team to ensure everything is running smoothly, and observing the daily workings of the finance department.

Who would suit a Financial Role?
It goes without saying that you will need to have a competent finance background, such as accountancy of finance management, especially if you want to be an FD or FC.
